DataArt to Showcase DeviceHive and Explore the Future of Connected Devices at Strata + Hadoop World 2015

New York, Sept. 29, 2015 - DataArt, a technology consulting firm that creates end-to-end solutions, will demonstrate IoT and predictive maintenance solutions at Strata + Hadoop World NYC 2015, September 29 — October 1. In partnership with Canonical, the creator of Ubuntu Linux operating system, DataArt will showcase how to deploy DeviceHive’s lambda architecture and evolve an industrial IoT solution from proof of concept to a scalable production system.

DeviceHive is an Open Source IoT Data Platform with a wide range of device integration options. It contains a set of services and components connecting smart devices to public and private clouds, turning device data into a valuable asset. The scalable IoT Data Platform provides the means to analyze and act on collected data, leveraging the industry’s best tools: Apache Spark, Cassandra, Canonical’s Juju and Ubuntu Snappy. The devices can be anything connected: sensor networks, smart meters, security systems, telemetry, industrial or smart home devices.

Strata + Hadoop World is the preeminent big data and IoT conference in the world, providing deep-immersion for data scientists, analysts and executives to examine emerging techniques and technologies. Attendees are able to dissect case studies, develop new skills through in-depth tutorials, share emerging best practices in data science and help guide the future for big data and the IoT.
