Russian Software Companies are being invited to US market
Representatives of some of the largest American companies are taking affirmative action in order to bring Russian developers into the Western programming market.
Representatives of some of the largest American companies are taking affirmative action in order to bring Russian developers into the Western programming market. On Monday, Russian companies will be presented with a document containing practical recommendations for promoting their products and services on the American and West European markets.
Experts from the American consulting company Argea, who have experience of work with large companies, were among those involved in creating the document. The authors, Donnie Foster and Ram Iyer, based their recommendations on experience of the successful formation and development of outsourcing centres for Hewlett Packard in Bangalore and Chennai.
Ram Iyer said: "With the increased pace of globalization, the best way for companies from across the world to be competitive is to implement the outsourcing model (extended enterprise model). All the players in the outsourcing industry, from client management and client employees to consultants and suppliers must focus on making the outsourcing model work - that is the 'golden goose' for everybody. It is important for more clients to 'taste success' with the outsourcing model to encourage them to use it more. This article lays out the various steps that Russian suppliers must take to get more high-margin revenues from deeper and longer relationships with US-based clients."
DataArt, which specialises in software development for American clients, is interested in developing relations with Western business, just as many other Russian companies are.
